Compliant with ISO 10131-1 and 10131-2 Standards

We are one of the few companies in North America offering Murphy beds that comply with the ISO 10131-1: Safety Requirements and 10131-2: Test Methods. To achieve this, they have undergone a series of tests by Micom Laboratories Inc.

The tested bed first endured 10,000 opening-closing cycles with a mattress, without any issues. This equates to 96 years based on the average usage of our customers or 27 years for daily use.

The durability of the bed and the reliability of its wall attachment were also tested by repeatedly applying weight to the bed, with no damage or anomalies. The tension of the mechanism during bed opening was also evaluated, demonstrating that it allows for safe use, with no risk of unexpected opening or closing, while ensuring easy handling with minimal effort.
